Narl'eru' Noble House Crests & Colors

If you notice all the Narl'eru' pages have a knotted Celtic star design background. All noble houses of the Narl'eru' support the knotted Celtic star. It is the sign of a noble house. The family crest we have used for this site is the for Air’rel's family the Fai'Hosin. Their colors are as you see green lined on a buff field. Her family is very old so only supports two colors some Narl'eru' noble households support well over 100 colors.

There are some background colors used with the crest that tells one the person's position with in the family or their calling. Black background is for the warrior cast, gray is for the cleric calling, red is for the diplomatic/law/political fields, green is merchants and seller of services and white is for bards/dancers/actors/musicians.

Some crest colors and patterns only another Narl'eru' can tell the difference between the  house with a 3 band blue and a 4 band blue within the rainbow. Normally other races would just see the same rainbow colorization. Here are some examples of noble household crests:

Noble House Crests and Family information

The Noble house Ver'Quee'ai - Their crest is silver on a black field. Their colors are silver and black. - This house is the Narl'eru' military. All nobles and commoners of this house become fighters and warriors. They are the only house allowed to have the black background in their crest otherwise most crests are field less. Members of this house can easily mind read each other even at great distances. This ability allows the Ver'Quee'ai to plan out battles with pin-point perfection. Unlike most Narl'eru' this house is "Kill death" immune. For a Ver'Quee'ai breeding has allowed them to create natural mind touch shielding. They are masters of all weapons and can tap into earth force energies to enhance their dexterity, strength and endurance. When their fighting time seems to slow down for them while all their opponent see is a blur of activity.

The down side is a Ver'Quee'ai burns out early in their life. Not many who are active warriors live beyond their 500th year. They never become mages since they are limited to just one force. Because they are driven a Ver'Quee'ai makes a very lonely partner in marriage so often will only marry within their own family line.

The Ver'Quee'ai are the only Narl'eru' that hunts the Fey and Undead. They are the only Nar'eru' feared by the Fey.

The Noble house 'M'faw'kan - Their crest colors are flaming orange lined in black. Their colors are Black, yellow, orange.- This house is noted for being diplomats and often are asked to stand as judges for other races since they well know for being neutral and make very good judgments. It is extremely hard to lie to a 'M'faw'kan. Note use the click before their name it is a great point of honor that their house is marked as being very important and respected.
The Noble House Se'eltru - Their crest colors are icy blue, black lined and white. Their colors are a range between white and icy blue. - This house is noted for trading between the races. They are expert with portal travel. Most Se'eltru are merchants and very wealthy. They also are noted for their extensive communications and ability to sort quickly other races' mind pictures. It is rather hard to confuse a Se'eltru' BUT, they can and will try to confuse others to their advantage. Se'eltru' are excellent gambles.
The Noble House Fai'Hosin - Crest colors dark green lining on a buff field. Household color ranges from green to buff. -This house is noted for it's famous "Star Players" and their early affinity for being able to draw in the many raw magical forces around them to enhance their mental and physical powers. Fai'Hosin have many of the oldest members of the Narl'eru'. They are survivors and noted for a few family members living up to 5,000 years.

The Fai'Hosin are the only Narl'eru' who have access from the age of 10 to all the raw magical forces available within a given area. They do not use spells but instead can apply raw magical forces using their minds alone.  Example is a Fai'Hosin could bring about enough fire force to make stone burn like wood. It is time and learning that will help them focus and control that from a possible instant lake of fire to just a few stones for cooking food over a camp fire. This does not mean that Fai'Hosin over the age of 1,000 are all mages only that they have access and can control using those magical forces.

Of all the houses the Fai'Hosin are the most emotional and empathic with other races. They also have very little natural shielding from touch mind linking so they might at first seem aloft, shy or very nervous around people, but this is done to protect themselves from accidentally touching the hand, arm or skin of another. They wear very soft kit gloves at all times as well as loose clothing to cover their overly mind/touch receptive skin.

They always will politely ask before touching a person to connect to their language centers and picture memory. If by accident they touch say a human or elf they will become very angry at themselves for violating another's self. They will feel very guilty and go out of their way to apologue to the person. When this happens with elves it could open a channel that might allow some image transference between the two parties for several days or weeks. It can trigger the beginnings of recognition between the Narl'eru' and elf.

The Fai'Hosin are extremely loyal and will die for their principals, family, friends, just causes and freedom. There are may from this house who are bards, clerics, sages and several very famous legendary heroes both Narl'eru' and elven. Fai'Hosin tend to travel and of all the noble families are most likely to fall into recognition with a elf. Because such unions will only produce a full elf children this is the only house who recognizes their Elven members as nobles.

The Fey especially enjoy hunting the gentle Fai'Hosin and torturing them to death.
